Reconciliation Day
April 2nd is Reconciliation Day, a tradition started by famous columnist Ann Landers. I still remember reading her column in the paper for all kinds of advice. The point of Reconciliation Day is to reach out to others and make some small step towards mending broken relationships with a family member, friend or business associate. I love this idea and chose my 1st action to write and send a note to an elderly member of my community who is kind but lonely and sometimes places great demands on my time.
