100 Days Left in 2018
100 Days Left in 2018
Even in Southern California fall is in the air. Cooler mornings, pumpkin spice lattes and the changing colors of leaves. Today there are only 100 days left in 2018 and I know you want to finish your year strong.
And if this hasn’t been your best year yet it’s not too late to start….ANYTHING…to get you out of the rut of procrastination and finish the year strong. Even small daily wins can be a huge mind shift. They build confidence to keep going. Confidence in one area often crosses over into other areas.
It can be so easy to lose sight of our ultimate goals when there are seemingly endless steps to take. The course looks too long, the weight loss number is daunting, 10,000 words seems impossible. The key is to just take the first step. Then the momentum builds.
That’s it. Here are some ideas to get you thinking about what you can tackle in the 100 days left in 2018.
15 Ideas to get You Charged Up
- Pick up a new journal just for the next 100 days. Many choices to choose from. It can be a gratitude journal, task journal, weight loss tracker, whatever you choose. Write in it first thing in the morning or last thing at night. You must write in it.
- Pick out a new skill to learn and darn well do it even if it’s a struggle at times. Probably will be. So what. Be unstoppable.
- Take a 30 Day Blog Challenge like this one to get started in the habit of posting regularly. Then continue.
- Select 3 new books to read and and implement ideas gleaned from them. I’m starting with this one that’s newly updated. Smart Women Finish Rich.
- Physical clutter getting you down? Throw out or give a way an item a day. You’ll be shocked at how freeing it can be and how much useless stuff you have that needs a new home.
- Clean up your email inbox by unsubscribing from lists you are on and never read. Don’t worry. You can always join back up later.
- People still love snail mail. Who can you write or send a card to once a week? What marketer have you wanted to connect with. Reach out. People love connection and community and want to help you too.
- Write a new affirmation every day on an index card and read it. Or create a new screen saver with them.
- Quit putting off taking care of your health and track how much water you drink and what you eat. Add daily exercise. Start small. Every day.
- Been putting off writing that book in your head? Write 15 minutes a day. Just start. Don’t edit. Just let the thoughts flow.
- Join a new Facebook group or start one of your own on a topic you love. Have fun and watch it grow into something you can monetize too.
- That big course you bought is waiting on your implementation. Watch the next training video. Do the step. Don’t think about how many there are. Focus on just the one.
- Watch a motivating Ted Talk every week or listen to a favorite podcast that inspires you.
- Challenge yourself to give up a bad habit for 100 days. Chocolate, alcohol, fast food. Whatever. Giving up a bad habit is creating a new one.
